Volunteering

Different Ways to Volunteer Your Time at Cary-Grove Food Pantry!

  • Shopping with clients during pantry hours
  • Help unload semi-truck filled with food
    2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, around 8:00 AM and lasting approximately one hour. (Please call to confirm times, they periodically change.)
  • Shelf stocking at pantry
    Call the pantry for more info at 847-516-3602
  • Special event help
    Assist with Cary Merry Christmas, Cary Days, etc.
  • Cardboard recycling
    Pick-up from pantry and drop off boxes at Algonquin Township (Rt. 14, just west of Cary, before the Hollows).
  • Food pick-ups
    Need volunteers with a pick-up truck or van.

Seventeen classes of Chemistry students at Cary-Grove High School recently celebrated Mole Day. As part of the celebration students collected $1125.50 in donations for the Cary-Grove Food Pantry.
